Jo Browne

Jo Browne

I’m Jo, I’m 30 and have been canicrossing for 5 years. I love the bond it creates between me and my many dogs. I’m known as the crazy dog lady and love introducing new people and dogs to the sport. Look forward to seeing you all out on the trails.

Cathryn Hartwell

Cathryn Hartwell

Hi, I’m Cathryn, I’m 47 & I run with Marley, the Goldador, who is 2 years old. We’ve been canicrossing since January 2022 and we both really love it. We’re at our happiest running together with the Club in all weathers. We currently run around the 3 to 4 mile mark at a steady pace but hoping to challenge ourselves to new distances over the new season.

Rachael Banfield

Rachael Banfield

This is me and Darcie. I’ve been running for about 20 years but only started canicross with Darcie in February 2022. We’ve learnt a lot through being part of RBC and still got lots more to learn. I’m happiest when I’m spotting nature or beautiful things around me, and sharing it with others and their dogs.

Tessa Lewis

Tessa Lewis

Hi, I’m Tessa, I run with my Wirehaired Viszla Fern who is always up to mischief! I’ve worked with dogs forever and been Canicrossing for a few years later signing up to Tri-dog for charity and throwing myself in at the deep end! I love the social side and will run anywhere for coffee and cake! I live near Newent so tend to do 5-10km runs north of Gloucester and Forest of Dean but will travel to join others!

Debs OKane

Debs OKane

I’m Debs and I started Canicross in 2017 with Paddy, a small Cypriot crossbreed. Canicross has really boosted his confidence. I also run with Ginny (Collie), Bryn (Terrier) and Ernie (Springer) but not often all at once! I’m a Primary School teacher but a farmer at heart, so enjoy running across farmland and spotting wildlife. I am also a Puppy School tutor and I’m keen to encourage handlers with young dogs to wait until their dog is ready to start running and then support them into the sport gradually so they can enjoy years of running together.
